Grand Junction

We had such a fun weekend. The Heiners were so hospitable and let us come visit them. I feel like we kind of harass them often, but they're so fun. We secretly go because their guest room is way bigger then our master bedroom. It makes us feel like we're really special! Paul, of course, couldn't wait to ride bikes with Cody. I couldn't wait to hit the convenience store by 9 a.m. for a diet coke with Laura. We all get along so perfectly! If you know the Heiners, you know they always have a new, fun game to play. They taught us a game called "Chems". It was fun trying to catch everyone being super sneaky with their signs. Alanna was a fun partner. She had one of the best eyebrow raises I've seen in a long time.

Calling All Dog Lovers

Paul was such a good boy and took Steve and Dave to the dog park. They loved running around and sniffing the other dogs' behinds. We're so lucky to have a dog park so close to our house.

Date Night!

Kara and Justin were so nice to invite us out for a special night on the town. We had dinner at the Pagoda restaurant. Paul and I had never been there (we LOVE trying new restaurants), and we were very happy with their good and reasonably priced sushi - YUMMY! After a delicious meal, we went to "My School Musical" at the Off Broadway Theater. Paul and I thought it was fun to go back there because the last time we were there together, we didn't know each other that well so we didn't sit by each other. Oh, how things have changed! The play was really funny. We especially enjoyed the gentlemen who was sitting in front of us. He took his role as being a crowd participant very seriously. Sometimes he was yelling so loud that it was shocking, and he always knew what parts you were supposed to yell at. He must be a regular.

Paul really knows how to capture us all at our best.
Notice the guy in the plaid - he was the one yelling!!
(Sorry if you know him!)

Much better with someone else taking the picture!

What I Love Most About March

Oh Yes, I'm so glad March has arrived. Kara and I have been waiting all winter for the snow to melt and the sun to come out so we could start running again. It's so hard to run on a treadmill, and I very much prefer to run with a friend outside. We're working really hard to put some miles on our shoes and get our buns in shape. And yes, I'm sorry that you all have to see my white legs and spandex Capris!

4 Years & Counting

Can you believe that we've been married for 4 years? For me, I'm more surprised that we've lived in our house for 4 years. For our anniversary, Paul and I enjoyed a few of our favorite activities - napping after work and Thai food. It was fantastic!

I still feel so lucky to be married to Paul. He's a great husband and does so many things to make me happy. I love you, Paul!

I think Paul looks so hot!

I loved our cake too
Not bad for finding a local lady in Manti

Grandma Campbell

Our sweet Grandma Campbell passed away on Valentine's Day. She had so many family members and friends who loved her. We're going to miss her so much. My favorite thing about Grandma Campbell was her unconditional love and great advice. At her funeral, it made me smile to hear she used to be a really good tumbler.

I love this picture!
I'd give anything to look this good in a swimsuit

Our Day of Love

As some of you know, Valentine's Day is like Christmas for the Campbell's. We choose not to exchange gifts on Christmas and save it until February 14th. I must say that Steve and Dave outdid themselves once again on the gift they gave to Paul. They had cookies designed around their cute little faces sent to him at work. To celebrate our love for one another, Paul and I went to a very romantic lunch at Biaggi's. I love eating at Biaggi's because they have yummy bread with olive oil and Parmesan cheese. My favorite part of the day was spending the whole day together!

They always get him a Valentine's gift.

This is the heart rate watch I got Paul.
He sent me an e-mail hinting it was something he would like.

This is the camera Paul got me. I love it!

What We Lived Above!

Paul and I got really ambitious one Saturday and decided to tackle all of the junk we've been accumulating in our basement over the past four years. It's mainly stuff our parents have been bringing to us to get us moved officially out of their houses. I knew there would be a few piles of stuff to give away or throwout, but I had no idea it would amount to TWO overflowing truck loads! I'm so embarrassed!! I like to think of myself as having a clean house, but this makes me question myself. Paul was a trooper and spent the whole day down there with me until it was all done. It looks and I feel and million times better.
