BUNCO Night

It was my turn to host BUNCO at my house this month. It was a lot of fun, but thank goodness I only have to host once a year. I'm always a procrastinator when it comes to the prizes. I got lucky and discovered Victoria's Secret had body spray on sale 6 for $30. I don't know if the girls liked the body spray, but I thought it was a pretty good $5 gift. Kristin was the night's big winner with 4 BUNCOs!

So Good To See You Again!

I got to see some of my favorite people in the whole world - Jim, Irene, Lynda, and Dennis! I used to work with Jim, Lynda, and Valerie (we missed you Val and Gunther) at Martin Doors. We have all moved on, but still get together as often as we can. Jim's son, Travis, got married, and his reception was a mini reunion for us too. You guys are the best, I love you all!

Not quite ready. Let's try it again!

Labor Day Weekend

The Campbells went to the Uintas for Labor Day weekend. We thought our idea was original, until we got there and saw all the people! Paul and I grew up in areas where camping meant having the whole mountain to yourself. I don't think we'll ever get used to "city" camping. However, we love being outdoors and will take advantage of it whenever we can. At the end of summer each year, we always say we didn't go camping enough. Uncle Steve (not to be confused with our first born, Scuba Steve) and his BFF, Josh accompanied us. Actually, they let us tag along!! The boys spent most of the time in their waders in the river fly fishing while I relaxed in the sun and played with Scuba and Dave. I was surprised to see that only two out of the three boys wore socks with their waders. I still love you, Steve, but I think that's a little socially unacceptable. You're also putting yourself at risk of getting trench foot. The best part of the trip was watching Scuba and Dave tip toe into the water to get a potato chip from Paul. They hate getting wet, but apparently they will do just about anything for a treat.

Our humble home in the mountains

It truly is amazing that Steve was able to eat breakfast.
He got sick during the night and puked up the pizza he had for dinner.
I saw the puke spot and noticed he had olives on his pizza
that he managed to swallow whole!! He's very talented.

Tooth brush, Diet Pepsi, and dirty pants!

Heading out for a day on the river

This was my favorite picture from the trip!

They didn't want me to take this picture, but I think it turned out nice!

We'll see you on the mountain next year!
