4th of July

I came the realization this year that the 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. I love it because we have fun traditions and a full day with family and friends. We have been spending the independence holiday in Richfield for about six or seven years - since before we were even married!!

This year was no exception on taking it all in. Paul played in the 3-on-3 basketball tournament, we both did the 5k fun run, we went to the parade, went to the city park for a Navajo taco and catch up with friends, stopped by the Ideal Dairy for an ice cream slushy, and watched the fireworks at Lions Park. There also might have been a Circle C burger in there later that night. These things are traditions that we love, and I can't wait until next year!!

Going in for a 2 pointer!

Two happy puppies at the park

Our nephew Hunter came to the basketball tournament with us

5-k Fun Run before the parade

Crossing the finish line!
Paul finished in 24 minutes, and I finished in 27!!

High School buddies reunited!
Paul with Brent and Jordan

Jared gets the award for traveling the furthest to be there.
He came from Oklahoma with his friend from the Air Force!!

Posing with Deanna

We love each other & Independence Day!!

Waiting for the fireworks to begin

Kasey, Joe, and Steve met us at the park to watch
the spectacular show!!

I'm glad you found my blog. I look at yours all the time i'm just bad at leaving comments. It looks like you had a really fun 4th of July. Your front yard looks nice too but I don't know what it looked like before either:)
